October 5th Memorial

As of now, the memorial will be held at The Red Beet in Palmer, Alaska, near the Borough building. It will be from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a pot-luck following a reflective ceremony. Bread will be provided by the Red Beet Bakery.

Dan's body was cremated on August 14, 2008 in a beautiful cemetery in Guatemala City. The cemetery was lush with lovely gardens and was very peaceful. You may read about the meaningful ceremony in the Family Updates from Guatemala.
